We had a rather noisy feline visitor last night; a fluffy tabby-and-white who decided to sit on the girls' windowsill and yowl up at L's bedroom window. She was a bit skittish and ran away any time I took a step towards her, but kept coming back - especially when I brought out a bowl of food. L was worried that she was a very young cat who was lost, particularly as she wasn't wearing a collar - however eventually she came close enough for me to pick her up briefly for a fuss, at which point it was obvious she wasn't so much a six-dinner Sid as an eight-dinner Edna! Not pregnant - just very fat!
No doubt we'll hear and see her around again - she evidently has several good homes to go to. :-)
